Low Carbon Energy Credentials

The Hawthorne Boyle Partnership are delighted to announce that we have the ability to produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPC's) and Display Energy Certificates (DEC's) for newbuild premises. This strengthens our existing abilities in relation to compliance with Part 6 of the Scottish Technical Standards, which already include SBEM Calculation and Computer Thermal Modelling.

Thursday, May 29, 2008 ~ The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland has announced five Scottish winners of the 2008 RIBA Awards, and Castlemilk is one of those recognised.

South Lanarkshire College BREEAM award

South Lanarkshire College BREEAM award      News ImageThe recently completed new Campus at East Kilbride for South Lanarkshire College has achieved a BREEAM Very Good award. Well done to Allan Wishart and David Hart who are responsible for this project.

Castlemilk Stables Block

Castlemilk Stables Block    News ImageWe are delighted to announce that Castlemilk Stables Block has been recognised in the National Civic Trust Awards 2008. The Hawthorne Boyle Partnership provided a full M&E design package for this project which includes a geothermal borehole heating system. The project also won architects Elder and Cannon the Supreme Award from the Glasgow Institute of Architects in the Saltire Awards.

Hawthorne Boyle win major schools construction project

The Hawthorne Boyle Partnership have secured a major schools construction project for Midlothian Council in partnership with Barr Construction and RMJM Architects.
